Hey, my name is Scott Gilfillan

I'm Scott, the filmmaker behind ByScottFilms. I grew up on Vancouver Island and I shoot the coast I know. My background is commercial film, which means I work fast and stay out of the way, and I'm watching for the unplanned ten seconds more than the posed ones. Small number of weddings a year, two cameras, every film cut by me.

So everyone feels comfortable and accustomed to each other, we’ll have a quick call to discuss things and plan everything out.

Film time

The big day! We’ll meet, talk, connect, and get to know each other. In the meantime, I will be preparing the equipment so we can jump right into it.

Delivering films and Sneak Peaks

In 2 weeks you will have a sneak peak edit for social media.

In 6 Weeks you will have the full film and a edited timeline of the whole day.
